9/29/11
First run/walk....went for 15 minutes. Ran about 3 blocks out of a mile....hmmm....definitely room for improvement. Very exhilarating .....

Weighed in today. Wow...all time high. Wake up call! Watched my 50 year old coworker struggle to simply walk up three stairs, she is over weight and very unhealthy....this is the path I am heading down unless I make a change. How can a person let themself get so out of shape and overweight that they can't do stairs! Misty came in and shared her training program from when she ran her marathon. Impressive. To complete a marathon is on my bucket list and I chose on this day to begin a new part of my life....I WILL complete a marathon! No more excuses!
